Who we are

ITAM AG is a young, con­sis­t­ent­ly agi­le soft­ware manu­fac­tu­rer for IT asset manage­ment soft­ware, mer­chan­di­se manage­ment sys­tems and web rich cli­ent frame­works based in Ett­lin­gen. We deve­lop solu­ti­ons and offer con­sul­ting for cus­to­mers ran­ging from 10 to 10,000 employees. We live short and modern decis­i­on-making pro­ces­ses and a very flat hier­ar­chy. Immer­se yours­elf in the fasci­na­ting world of a modern, cloud-ori­en­ted web architecture.

 

What defi­nes us

We are a start­up with back­ing, inte­gra­ted into a group of IT ser­vice com­pa­nies with over 400 employees. This means we can gua­ran­tee a sta­ble job and still tre­at our­sel­ves to a modern start­up life­style. What does that mean? We live nerd cul­tu­re! Come by and walk through our cor­ri­dor with clas­sic films, the modern office space is deco­ra­ted in the style of the employees. Whe­ther it’s Super Mario, Hori­zon, pho­to­gra­phy, pain­ting or just mini­ma­list prog­ging, ever­yo­ne can feel at home with us. Lunch tog­e­ther, a game of bil­li­ards or play­ing various board games – thanks to the loca­ti­on clo­se to natu­re, the lunch break can also be used for a walk. We have fixed mee­ting times, the rest of your working time is up to you.

Fruit, drinks & snacks
A healt­hy fruit break or would you rather have a cho­co­la­te bar? The­re is always some­thing to snack on in the com­mon room. In order to ensu­re con­stant pro­duc­ti­vi­ty, the cof­fee source must of cour­se not run dry, but we also have tea and water drin­kers well sup­pli­ed. PS: One or two cakes also find their way to us.
Team
We are a young team of pro­gramm­ers, mar­ke­ting and tech­ni­cal edi­tors. A shared lunch is just as much a part of it as a shared cof­fee addic­tion and the accom­pany­ing chat in the kitchen.
Scrum
We work in two teams - both with Scrum and joint sprints. All requi­re­ments, ide­as and obs­ta­cles are dis­cus­sed in the team and we look for solu­ti­ons together.
Tech­no­lo­gy
By working with a modern IT ser­vice pro­vi­der, we are always equip­ped with the best tech­no­lo­gy. You get what you feel most com­for­ta­ble with and can work best with.

Tasks

  • Deve­lo­p­ment and opti­miza­ti­on of com­plex rich cli­ent web appli­ca­ti­ons using Java, Java­script and Hiber­na­te using the Scrum deve­lo­p­ment process.
  • Mode­ling, crea­ti­on, expan­si­on and main­ten­an­ce of databases.
  • Fea­si­bi­li­ty ana­ly­zes and advice regar­ding soft­ware-based map­ping of busi­ness processes.
  • Con­ti­nuous adjus­t­ments and impro­ve­ments taking into account the latest trends and developments.
  • Joint solu­ti­on deve­lo­p­ment with product/project manage­ment and cus­to­mer service.

Pro­fi­le

  • Com­ple­ted stu­dies in busi­ness infor­ma­tics or com­pu­ter sci­ence and initi­al prac­ti­cal expe­ri­ence in the IT envi­ron­ment, alter­na­tively com­pa­ra­ble trai­ning with rele­vant fur­ther trai­ning and spe­ci­fic pro­fes­sio­nal experience.
  • In-depth know­ledge of rela­tio­nal data­ba­ses. Ide­al­ly with expe­ri­ence in using MS SQL Server.
  • Very good know­ledge of working with Java, Java­script and XML.
  • Know­ledge of Eclip­se, Hiber­na­te, J-Unit tests and rich cli­ent frame­works is desirable.
  • High per­so­nal com­mit­ment and strong ana­ly­ti­cal skills.
  • A com­mu­ni­ca­ti­ve team play­er who can sol­ve pro­blems inde­pendent­ly and responsibly.
